Winter Plumbing Tip: Frozen Pipes
Disconnect Hoses - Disconnect your garden hoses outside your home in the fall to prevent the outside faucet and pipes from the winter freeze. In freezing weather, pay attention for burst water pipes.
Winter Heating Tip
The Heat Isn't Coming On - Check to see that the heat is set to “on” and that the thermostat isn’t set to air conditioning or fan. Then turn the thermostat up to between 70-75 degrees to see if the heat kicks on. If this doesn’t work, go to the circuit box and check to see if the breaker has been tripped.
